Inside Columbia magazine Editing and Writing Samples
Below are links to the various published articles that I wrote and edited while working as both an editorial assistant and audience development specialist for Inside Columbia magazine from Aug. 1, 2012 to Nov. 22, 2013. Articles published after December 2013 were written on a freelance basis. Each piece I wrote was developed from idea to production. In addition, I also assigned various department stories to a team of editorial interns, who then went through three rounds of edits with myself. I also wrote features for Inside Columbia and contribute to the magazine’s ancillary publications, such as The Community Guide, The Family Guide and Tiger Town, USA. Also, I wrote a weekly blog with visitors and newcomers in mind called Columbia Culture.
